Saturday was another beautiful day to see a lot of gorgeous cars in Washington Park at the annual Lion's Club Cars in the Park show. The number of local (i.e. B'game) entrants was excellent and the overall quality was superb. The food choices were a little limited compared to prior years and one wonders why the Off The Grid trucks don't latch onto this as a fun and profitable place to be? I particularly liked this classic beauty which gets the Voice award for 2018.

In answer to a question on another (unrelated) thread, this year's Lion's Cars-in-the-Park has been cancelled. I personally think it a shame and we are likely to have been at the phase where people could park their cars a little further apart and the friendly Lion (whoever got to wear the Lion suit) could remind people to wear a mask as they walk around. But I also get that it feels risky to say so now. Shame.
