Pear blossoms snowing all over.
Lots of pear trees in Haeldsburg- Given my superstitious mother, I'm always on patrol for signs and symbols, totems and fetishes: in Healdsburg Square I saw a wooden bench given in loving memory of an Irish woman and there's that Irish blessing poem on it. Someone- on this St. Patrick's Day, placed among the pear blossoms, a potato.
