This is most unfortunate. You have to wonder if the Facebook founder really knows any of the details about how egregious the CLSEPA efforts have been.

Buoyed by the success of Facebook’s founder and his wife, the philanthropic Chan Zuckerberg Initiative is delving into the Bay Area’s housing crisis by funding legal support and advocacy for tenants facing displacement.

The nonprofit founded by Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan announced Monday it would provide support to two nonprofits battling on the front lines of the affordable housing crisis. The Chan Zuckerberg Initiative will provide a $3.1 million grant to Community Legal Services in East Palo Alto, or CLSEPA, and $500,000 to the University of California at Berkeley’s Terner Center for Housing Innovation.
