As far as I'm concerned, Jennifer is Citizen of the Decade and then some!!!

Bruce Dickinson

An unheard of 30 cowbell rings for Jen! Jen-baby, look, I gotta tell ya, that is what I would call one crowning achievement, if ya know what I mean? Bruce Dickinson recalls that ludicrous Caltrans plan to remove a bunch of trees at the Floribunda intersection. Talk about barking up the wrong tree and poking a stick right in Burlingame’s eye! I saw the footage of a dynamtie defense by Jen-baby and Joe’s better half, our very own Burlingame Grande Dames, if you will, who would give life and limb in defense of our precious resources. These actions almost immediately bore fruit in stopping the Caltrans’ plan to remove the trees and instead convince the agency branch out and explore far less invasive, and more common-sense alternatives! All the work that you and the historical society have done sowed the seeds of establishing the trees along El Camino as a protected historical resource, providing a fitting canopy of our own Grand Boulevard, as WE define it!

Hopefully this acts as inspiration for turning a new leaf and aggressively protecting and preserving what makes Burlingame great!
