Now that the new Safeway and 203 Primrose and "Wells Fargo building" are taking shape, I have a suggestion. Maybe even call it a request. The back side of Fox Mall never really got, or deserved, much attention. But now it is an intrinsic part of the view in the Safeway campus, so I think it's time to spruce it up a bit. What do you think?

I definitely agree...I've felt like the Fox Mall has so much potential that is wasted. It would be nice to see that entrance opened up a little so it's more inviting to take a look inside.

Yep, this is a diamond in the rough.

I think to much time is spent remembering the "Good Old Days" @ Burlingame Ave.
Especially, the Fox Plaza-Bing Crosby building.
That place should be "Reconfigured."
Broadway is the community to shop!
For the shoppers that doubt...
Just drive your car down Burlingame Ave. OR WALK.
There should be a DC at both ends of the street.
See you at Earthbeam.

Hey, the back is hardly worse than the front. Same low budget signage on the front except bigger. Rather amazing.

It's plain and homely now, but has good bones and lots of potential.

A better paint job with more than one color would be a good start and wouldn't cost much.

Maybe we can convince Nancy Call (Art Attack!) to paint another beautiful mural!

Holy, don't be such a negative crank! We all love BOTH of our shopping areas-it's not a contest.

What about just driving down the street?
That Avenue is the "Red Carpet" of Burlingame.
Will some one single City of Burlingame Elder respond?
It is just Human Nature that "you" City of Burlingame Elders crusie this site.
So, how about "you people" responding to questions on this web site?
Is it possible to respond to issues posed from constituency regarding all things Burlingame on your web sites?

If Disney can employ imagineers to design the flow of traffic to increase business in Disneyland then why can't anyone else. If you leave a successful flow of business to chance you will not get a very solid pay-off. This is an opportunity to design success and build strong pay-offs for both customers and vendors.
We need to formulate a plan to move people and vehicle traffic through Burlingame to create a more efficient flow.
An example: While the Farmer's Market may draw people into Burlingame, it ties up an essential vehicle passage the promotes traffic flow through town. It it were move to a more efficient area, it would still bring people downtown without disrupting the flow of traffic.
