My next door neighbor had her two trees removed 4 weeks ago.
She told me yesterday that she is worried about some project the Park Dept is going to preform, in front of her house to remove the remaining stump.
She told me people have been spray painting her lawn, and putting in little flags.
She asked the worker what he was doing but he did not speak english.
I am very worried for her as well as myself.
Why does the Park dept hire people who do dnot speak english, or let all the neighbors know what is going on?

Hillsider

Why can't you stay on topic?

Why can't your neighbor figure out who the supervisor on the job is? Or just call the department head?

Why do you add comments that are so worthless?

Well actually stump removal is why I was evacuated from my home six months ago because of a break in the gas line. The flags and spray painting denote the electrical and gas lines. So, holy's on topic.

holyroller

Yeah Hillsider, calm down.
What happened Fred?

Getting back to the San Bruno disaster.
Has anyone seen the 30-40 Mexican Women standing around Lunardis at San Bruno Ave?
They are the group with the "Disaster Restoration Specialist Sweatshirts."
How is this obvious selling of illegal alien/undocumented labor allowed to prey on the misfortune of the people who are going through this life changing disaster?
Border Patrol/Customs/ICE main office is less than 3 miles away.

PS
I bet dollars to Donuts PG&E would not discourage this practice.

This site has always been a great venue to share and discuss what is going on in OUR town.

However, I've noticed that shrill voices - holyroller in this case - try to outshout anyone that doesn't agree with their narrow, often bigoted, opinions.

Hillsider was correct. This article/posting was on the gas lines in OUR community, Burlingame. Not a rant about PG&E in general, or about the tragedy in San Bruno (which of course is what makes the topic of Gas Lines relevant), or their fear of the Immigrants (assumed to be undocumented). If they want to talk about that topic, then why not post an article on that.

Now my apologies for taking us further off topic. Would like to see further discussion of the gas lines in Burlingame.

There seems to be plenty of gas coming from this web site..
That is what makes it fun, informative, and provacative.

What's more sickening than Jackie Speier mugging for the camera every chance she gets on the gas explosion? She's sucking up so much oxygen on the fire that Nagel hasn't had a chance to issue a press release on it yet.

Dear JQP,
I have, as well as others, a point of view.
This Blog is a place to discuss, debate, consider, other community memebers "point of view."
The focus is on The City of Burlingame.
I have just read your "post" regarding my thoughts/contributions to this very dynamic web site.
In my opinion, you "John Q Pubic," are a censor, and are a bigot.
This Blog has been a very good source of information to the people who live in Burlingame.
Dear John Q. Pubic,
please support other contributors to this web site whatever their point of view.
