Cohen, whats your view on HSR survey?

fred, the one and only

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery!

Actually, I'm not that interested in any particular view of the HSR survey. I believe no one can stop this runaway train.

Hope I'm wrong, hope somebody can stop this mess, but it looks pretty bleak.

ps: Instead of citizen patrols, how about sustainable retirement packages for all government employees or it's going to be bankruptcy followed by consolidation on a county wide level.

I agree with the one and only; if the police would take less money, then there would be more money for more patrol personnel. You can either have a lot of money and be alone on your beat, or take less and have backup.

Jeriann Fleres

Or you could pay the police a proper wage for doing one of the most dangerous jobs in our town. Why should they take LESS money? Are you or a member of your family putting your life on the line every day to keep our city safe? I want my police officers to have a salary that is commensurate with what they and their families have to go through. I am very appreciative of the work and dedication they show.
I am all for citizan patrols and being assigned lesser tasks. These persons if not in a volunteer capacity can be offered a much less pay because they are not putting their lives at risk.

How about a new shared service, the "Half Moon Burlingame Police Department"?
