I'm guessing Americans of a certain age cruised regardless of where they lived. Growing up in a place that was often cold, snowy and where salt on the roads ate away at classic cars meant cruising was not an integral part of my life experience. But I can see how living along El Camino would be a different experience and tonight I got a little taste of that experience. Apparently it was National Cruise Night. All I know is I saw a zillion gorgeous examples of Detroit's expertise--back when it had expertise. Here are a couple of the 100's of beauties that rolled past our eucalyptus grove tonight.

A reminder that tonight is National Cruise night so the classic car viewing on El Camino should be pretty good.
