last i looked, chef hats went from $5 for a standard hat at a supply store to $30 for a custom.

I'm thinking the Foundation could pitch in $5...if not...let me know..i'll pick them up and donate the $10 (for 2, of course)

It's a shame that stuff gets taken, and I know that's the point.

look at the great, fantastic new candy shop on Howard...evry week thieir hanging jellie bellies get stolen...and every week they are replaced..without a public crying for $$$$

The hats were especially made for the lions by a volunteer and on the poster I saw the Library was NOT asking for money (ie "a public crying for $$$$"), just requesting that the hats be returned with no questions asked.
