BURLINGAME CENTENNIAL TREE - To honor Burlingame's Centennial year, the Beautification Commission is asking residents to participate in the special planting of a majestic "Centennial tree" at Cannon Park on California Drive and Lorton Avenue across from Stack's Restaurant. The tree will be planted as part of the annual Arbor Day celebrating Burlingame as the "City of Trees" to be held on Saturday, March 8, 2008, at 10:00 am. For a donation towards the "Centennial Tree," contact the Parks & Recreation Department at (650) 558-7330.
