A San Francisco-based restaurant company will move into Burlingame's Broadway train station that formerly used for the upscale eatery Pisces if it can hook approval from both Caltrain and the city and county of San Francisco.
The proposed five-year lease with Stazione LLC does not include the name or style of restaurant slated for the space at 1190 California Drive. Stazione currently owns the Italian and Mediterranean restaurants Cafe Tiramisu, Brindisi Cucina di Mare and Belden Taverna in San Francisco's famed Belden Place.
Stazione representatives could not be reached for comment.
As part of the deal, Stazione agrees to take on Pisces' credit obligations and will pay $3,550 per month with a 3 percent increase up to $220,000 over the life of the agreement. The lease includes one five-year extension option.
