It's great that Santa is even stopping in Burlingame! We had heard reports that he would be by-passing those on the "nice" list in the vicinity of Broadway.

Apparently Broadway area residents were going to have to take a shuttle to Millbrae or Burlingame Avenue to collect holiday gifts, until someone reminded CalTrain officials the train DOES stop at Broadway on weekends. Happily this year, Christmas Eve is Saturday the 24th and Christmas is Sunday, the 25th.
****
CalTrain officials are uncertain about Santa making any stops in the Broadway area next year when Christmas falls on a weekday as Caltrain bypasses Broadway.

"We think they will have the city council voting tabulated by Christmas 2006!" said one CalTrain official, trying to put a nice spin on things.
