I heard they are closed for remodeling.

I got more of the story today. Angela, you are correct. They are remodeling into a baby and maternity store. Ours will be one of the few they have targeted to become this new kind of GAP store.

They must have read the comment here a few weeks back (by Sean I think?) that the Avenue's main shopper demographic is pregnant women with kids.


Oh great, a new-and-improved Baby CRAP... er... GAP. I guess the popularity of these clothes is due to the fact than the children wearing them are about the same age as the children making them.
