Did anyone notice the Times article about the pitbull and terrier attack on a dentist at his Burlingame home? Apparently he is sueing his neighbor, owner of the dogs, for $3 million. The dogs were to be put down by animal control, but the owners protested.

I would not mind my kids playing with a daddy-long-legs spider, but I would not let them play with a black widow. When over 70% of all mauling deals happened last year from "nice" pit bulls, I will not let my children over to a pit bull house now matter how "nice" the owner is. How could a parent act differently? How could an owner not understand this and not get their Pit spayed or neutered?

Exactly: you can have a fish but why would you buy a shark?
