Anyone walking down Burlingame Avenue early this Saturday morning would have seen an intriguing sight. A water trailer full of good Burlingame h20 being used to water our lovely new planters. I hear that up until this trailer was in use, residents had to fill up garbage cans with water and use buckets to water each of the 21 planters. Another example of Burlingame civic engagement!
BUT why has a sophisticated city like Burlingame allowed the installed irrigation system to get so broken and useless. Its absolutely ridiculous.

Hurray to Stephen Hamilton for all of the work he put into the water tank and trailer.
We are lucky to have the Hamiltons as hard working citizens of Burlingame.

Angela, Hurray for you too! You were the one filling those trash cans with water and driving the truck at 6:30 in the morning.
Now at least with our water truck in operation and Enrique driving we can both sleep in later on the weekends!
