The rumor is the Gold Medal Martial Arts may be forced to vacate the Howard Ave Bldg. They never seem to have much activity in there other than the little kids programs which isn't profitable business in that industry. The owner according to some insiders are looking for cheaper space.

Well Joe,
I think it is nice for Stanley Lo and Tom Neely but that being said, in my opinion, Real Estate Agents in this area make too much money on commissions in this hyper-inflated market. In Burllingame, Houses are selling within days.

The next area ripe for disruptive technology is real estate. We can now do travel. Car, merchandise, employment, etc, etc. on-line. Next frontier is home buying/selling

Know this controversial,. Just want to keep more of my money in my pocket. There will always be a need for agents. Just looking for a better way to do it myself.

BTW don't get Gentry magazine. Guess we are not in the demographics but that is ok with me.

It is filled with glamour shot ads for real estate agents + lots of ads for plastic surgeons. Glad they opted me out.

Actually Helio Markata dug up a post from more than a year ago to add his/her comment, but I did happen to see this year's version lately and Stanley Lo was still no. 1 in the Bay Area at $340+ MM and Jim Arbeed was second as I recall. I can't lay my hands on the magazine at the moment.

It is certainly a boom and bust business, but I basically agree with your Sami.
