I love this--saw it on Nextdoor today:

Is anyone missing a chicken? A neighbor near Howard and Occidental has noticed a brown chicken showing up in his backyard the last four days. If you are missing a chicken, please reply to this post and I'll arrange for a happy reunion!


I'm in favor of families having chickens - yes - they can be annoying in the early morning but I think the benefits for families out weigh the lovely cock a doodle doo in the mornings -

Chickens are like our beloved trees - they add warmth and character to our neighborhood even tho we have to clean the leaves…. I'm happy to know that the county officials have not banned them -
