While I am very grateful and excited to have a beautiful mural on the wall to brighten up the playgroud I am concerned that in the future we may hit the same blockade we encountered when Towles wanted to remove the mural that was painted on its wall. I remember there being a threatened lawsuit due to a "artist rights" clause. I think it was settled for some money amicably but I hope the City of Burlingame took this into consideration when contracting for this art.
