What's not to like...Pea in a Pod is boring tho. We need the prego bathing suits for Valentine's Day.

The only thing next door to Pea in the Pod is two empty storefronts.

What about the Breast Pump Store next to Ola's!
How about the Physic Store that replaced the Jewlery Store on Broadway? Next to Earthbeam?
"Merlin of Burlingame" has moved around a lot.
How does "Merlin of Burlingame" get a pass and not the new statue on Primrose/Chapin?
I would rather see Merlin waving a wand across the streets than a women/man on a horse.
But if they were to install a little boy peeing into a pond full of goldfish, now that would be Burlingame.

This may be tacky but it serves a purpose and I don't mean to get the editor distracted. Do they sell flying horses on Primrose? If we dress the rider in the mannequin's outfit we may have a traffic safety issue. Get your camera ready Mr. Editor.

This may seem funny but it is not. Your photo shows a small part of this tasteless display and misses the real issue entirely. Yesterday I was walking with my children past this display and was shocked at how inappropriate it was for children: mannequins in sexual positions, the wall of buttocks dressed in cheap underpants, and the focal point panties with "LEGALIZE GAY" printed on them. Would American Apparel care to explain to my 8 year old what they mean by "LEGALIZE GAY" ? I'm reminded of the failure of Abercrombie and Fitch a few years ago, who seemed to misunderstand the Burlingame audience in a similar way. Lingerie is a good thing, but smut on the Avenue will prove very bad for business.

Here..here...the original Abercrombies are rolling over in their graves

Mr. Travis, how does one define smut? Walk up the avenue to the lingerie store...smutty, smut to some, super sexy to others. It's life. Explain that to your little protected pumpkins.

Friend - if you feel that "super sexy" is a suitable theme to teach small children, your view of the world may be worth re-evaluating. Is it possible for adults to pleasure themselves while showing some margin of consideration for others? I hope you're just being clever (very) and don't actually hold responsible parents in contempt.

I am sure after these posts that display is gone.
I have no problem with it.

American Apparel is gone. Gone but not forgotten or just gone and who cares. Maybe people want more fabric for their money than this shop was offering.
