I need some help from someone like KRn on this. Who among these people has it together and who does not? Do they ever debate in public so we can see them live?

KRN

Dave Pine and Steve Rogers establish a strong base for the board.

You need to pick three:

Linda Lees has done a great job and needs to continue. She is fair and has the district's best interest in mind.

The young woman, Ortiz, has no experience. At this time, the school board is not a place to learn.

Mike Loy has been a very active and essential parent leader at Aragon. Aragon is a premier school and Loy's leadership could help direct the district. He has a background in construction so he can help hold down the RIP-OFFS!

This leaves Griffen and Hanley.

Griffen is a CPA. He has long tenure on the board. He should have known better when Sam Johnson destroyed the finances.

Hanley has no children and his only connection to the district is to experiment with his education policy ideas. His intentions are good, but the district is no longer a place for experiments. Hanley has distanced himself from the Sam Johnson Administration but he was at the heart of the 7 period day financial meltdown.

Take Griffen. He is a calm voice and will listen to reason.

The District is finally at a point where it may turn itself into a GREAT district. It has the leadership it needs with its new Superintendent (even though he needs to make at least one change) and an experienced board with a vision of the future will help.
